Sea to Sky Alchemy
An Ayurvedic Yoga Retreat for Women in Sardinia, Italy
Journey to the island of longevity, where turquoise seas meet ancient mountains and the rhythms of Blue Zone living invite us to slow down, nourish deeply, and reconnect with what makes us feel truly alive.

Step into the Alchemy of Sardinia
Immersed in a landscape shaped by ancient traditions of nourishment, deep connection to nature, and a slower rhythm of life, this retreat is an invitation to explore what it means to live, move, rest, and nourish in a way that brings us closer to our most vibrant selves.
From morning pranayama and meditation to nourishing movement, restorative evening practices, Ayurvedic wisdom, immersive experiences that invite us to explore Sardinia’s landscapes, waters, traditions, and culture, and the simple pleasures of sharing a meal together, each day offers an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with what truly nourishes you.
Surrounded by the sea, mountains, and timeless beauty of Sardinia, we’ll create space to step away from the pace of everyday life and return to the rhythms that have always been within us.
Ayurveda: The Science of Living
Ayurveda literally translates to “the science of life.”
Known as Yoga’s sister science, Ayurveda is the medical branch of the Yogic sciences and one of the oldest holistic health systems in the world still practiced today. Yoga and Ayurveda work together synergistically to guide us toward optimal wellbeing. Ayurveda supports the health and purity of the body and mind, creating a conducive environment for our spiritual evolution through the practices of Yoga.
Immersing ourselves in the ancient wisdom of both Yoga and Ayurveda offers a pathway home to our true essence—to the most authentic expression of who we are.
At its heart, Ayurveda is rooted in the understanding that we are not separate from nature, but intrinsically connected to it. The more closely we align with the sacred rhythms of the natural world, the more we cultivate harmony within ourselves. Ayurveda reminds us that we are composed of the same elements as the world around us—earth, water, fire, air, and ether—and that our wellbeing is deeply influenced by how we live in relationship with these elements and the cycles of nature.
Sardinia offers a beautiful landscape in which to embody this wisdom. Surrounded by sea, mountains, sun, nourishing foods, and the unhurried rhythms of island life, we’ll have the opportunity to experience Ayurveda not simply as something we learn, but as something we live.
Throughout the retreat, this ancient wisdom will gently guide our practices, rituals, nourishment, and way of being—fostering a deeper embodiment of our connection to the natural world and inviting us to return to the wisdom that already lives within us.

Our Home in Sardinia
Nestled in the unspoiled beauty of Costa Smeralda, our private villa offers the perfect setting to slow down and settle into the rhythm of retreat. Just a three-minute walk from a serene sandy beach and surrounded by lush Mediterranean gardens, the villa gives us the rare opportunity to experience Sardinia from a place that feels both secluded and connected to the sea.
For the duration of our retreat, the entire villa will be exclusively ours. We’ll have access to the beautiful gardens and secluded outdoor spaces, a 27°C heated pool and jacuzzi, spacious terraces with coastal views, and a dedicated indoor yoga shala. There will be plenty of space to practice, rest, gather, and simply enjoy being together.
Each morning, we’ll have the option to begin our day by the sea, grounding through pranayama and meditation as we watch the light move across the Mediterranean...a beautiful way to embody the Ayurvedic invitation to attune ourselves to the rhythms of nature.
Throughout our stay, a private chef will prepare abundant, locally inspired vegetarian meals, with vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free options available upon request. Nourishment will be woven into the experience through generous shared meals, fresh fruit, and the simple pleasure of gathering around the table together.
Just a short walk from the villa, the charming harbour of Porto Rotondo offers cafés, restaurants, boutiques, and another opportunity to wander and experience the laid-back beauty of this coastal community.
For one precious week, this beautiful villa becomes our home in Sardinia, a place to rest, nourish, explore, connect, and return to ourselves.

Your Journey

Your Retreat Host
Hi, I'm Abbey Morris, founder of Yoga by Abbey.
I am a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Ayurvedic Health Counsellor, Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist, Meditation Teacher, and Certified Sound Healer, and it is my honour to create spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, and experience the transformative wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda in a deeply embodied way.
To me, Yoga is a homecoming to the truest, most authentic version of ourselves.
Following the Yogic path and embracing an Ayurvedic lifestyle has profoundly transformed my own life, helping me move through a dangerous eating disorder, severe anxiety, and debilitating digestive issues. These ancient teachings gave me a new way of understanding myself and the world around me, helping me reclaim my health, my sense of self, and ultimately, my power.
Today, it is my mission to translate the timeless teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda into a modern, accessible, and deeply experiential practice, both on and off the mat. Through Ayurvedic health counselling, retreats, workshops, private sessions, and community, I create spaces that invite us to soften the noise of everyday life, challenge the beliefs that keep us small, and reconnect with the wisdom that already lives within us.
Sea to Sky Alchemy is an expression of this mission, a space to nourish, explore, connect, and come home to yourself.
